My Approach and Findings

My long-term objective study and application of complex systems of checks and balances involving a great many cyclical timing methods including those of comprehensive predictive numerology and astrology (other than simple modern numerological cycles and modern astrological non-continuous cycles such as transits and progressions) regularly and constantly have displayed to me that personal fate is measurable.

I am constantly searching for evidence that would challenge or invalidate my theory that everyone's life is full of unalterable karmic events and circumstances. So far, I have found none.

My research tells me that birthrights aren't automatic entitlements to the "infinite possibilities of the universe," contrary to popular belief. Free will exists, but total free will is only available to you in spirit form before incarnating. Why? So you can't escape confronting the issues you're meant to work through, and therefore grow and progress.

However trendy it is these days to reject the idea of predestination (events that are unavoidable), my research shows that fated personal circumstances (rewarding and challenging) are part of everyone's life. Since 1992 I've scrutinized the comprehensive numerology and astrology charts, and observed the representative circumstances (past and present), of thousands of people. Furthermore, whether a person believes in karma and fate or not, they are still bound by it, as I constantly witness.

Some might call me a "fatalist," and incorrectly label my position as overly-cynical and void of "promise," but please understand that I am simply relaying the results of my findings. If the idea of predestination discourages you in any way, know that you have the ability to "get what you want," on an ego-self (personality) level at least some of the time, as long as the desired result doesn't conflict with your earthly path.

Additional Considerations

Since the early 1980's, I've reviewed and studied the methods, techniques, and material of many numerologists, astrologers, graphologists, psychics, mediums, and others. I've encountered many, many, very talented, well-meaning professionals, and I've also come across those that you are best avoiding.

It's important to understand that the sciences of numerology, astrology, and related areas are rooted in ancient tradition that has nothing to do with entertainment and shallow methodologies.

At the same time, I fully acknowledge that there are many talented professional astrologers, numerologists, and other readers who, due to powerful psychic ability, excel at employing only a limited number of aspects and charting methods to achieve constant high accuracy levels. However, my experience tells me these types of professionals are very rare.

I've also encountered exceptional mediums and psychics who offer very high accuracy levels who operate on their connection to the divine alone, without any birth data, charts, or related information. But these are especially rare.

Some might be able to conduct their work with a reasonable level of accuracy using, for example, only psychologically-based, modern Western astrology, or simply modern, Western numerology, but ultimately consistent, long-term precision requires strong psychic ability and, or comprehensive charting methods employing extensive ancient and modern methods.

I recognize that surface-oriented computer generated astrology and numerology reports, introductory astrology and numerology books, superficial numerology and astrology do-it-yourself books and kits, trivial on-line, newspaper, and magazine astrology "horoscopes" and numerology columns, and related items serve as acceptable introductions to the occult sciences.

I find these types of sources to be even more tolerable when an author, for example, clearly states that the material he or she offers is merely an introduction to a vast body of knowledge. Disappointingly, many of these types instead offer titles such as "…The Complete Book (of numerology, astrology, etc.)…" and fail to inform the reader otherwise.

In today's marketplace there exists an over-abundant proliferation of frivolous astrological, numerological and other New Age related material that unfortunately obscures the ancient traditions of the occult sciences. It's understandable that fresh and exciting content sells better, but it's too often to the detriment of the uninformed reader.

All too frequently today's heavily entertainment-oriented content misinforms, misguides, and merely offers support for critics and those who seek to denigrate occult wisdom.

Common Red Flags

Below I offer common red flags in the New Age marketplace to save you time and help steer you in the right direction:

*Readings by those who talk loosely about karma and dharma (what one must do in this life), but who, at the same time, deny the tenets of reincarnation and fate.

*Readings done by astrologers and numerologists who deny that fate is measurable through numerology and astrology.

*Readings done by astrologers and numerologists who deny the reality that varying degrees of unavoidable adversity (which is also measurable) in people's lives serves a divine purpose.

*Readings done by those who regularly offer predictive, personality, or compatibility feedback based exclusively on a few astrological or numerological aspects (or worse, only one) such as the Sun sign or Life Path; these, by themselves, are trivial indications and must be viewed in relation to all of the other indications throughout the comprehensive charts for reasonable accuracy.

*Readings done by those who focus primarily on astrological transits and progressions (non-continuous, infrequent cyclical timing methods) for their forecasts and proclaim "...astrology is not fate, it's only possibilities;" indeed, that form of trivial astrology isn't fate, nor does it sufficiently measure it--transits, progressions, and other surface methods are best used for fine-tuning.

*Readings done by those who promote falsehoods such as "…(numerology or) astrology isn't predestination or fate…how things play out is going to be up to you," in order to mask an inability to do accurate prediction; what they don't tell you is their form of astrology or numerology isn't about predestination or fate and that original ancient predictive astrology and numerology are absolutely about predestination and fate.

*Readings done by those who promote their "horoscopes" that include superficial astrological and, or numerological information and lots of creative writing that serve mostly to entertain, but also to mislead because they are so generalized.

*Readings done by those who, in order to conceal an inability to do accurate prediction, say things to their clients such as, "…you deciding to take a different approach in any way after today will alter your fate such as to make all predictions void…"

*Readings done by astrologers and numerologists who base their work entirely on 19th century and later methods (modern) and who ignore the astrological and numerological ancient tradition (objective, empirically-based prediction) that spanned from about 300 BC into the 1600's before it was almost wiped out during the Age of Reason, and then later distorted by "creative," subjectively focused types during the last 200-300 years.

*Readings by those who mistakenly associate letting go and accepting what you can't change with unproductiveness or passiveness.

*Readings by those who deny the principles of karma (what goes around comes around), thereby supporting victim consciousness and rejecting the idea of personal accountability.

*Readings by those who deny the fact that this universe includes polarities, which means that it is impossible to have, for example, light without darkness, peace without conflict, and success without failure.

*Readings done by those who promote the New Age, unrealistic, feel-good, falsehood that the "...universe offers infinite abundance and all you have to do is tap into it to get what you want..." while ignoring the fact that getting what one wants is an impossibility if the aspiration is an ego-self (personality) desire contrary the following: what one has agreed, in spirit form before incarnating on a soul level, to experience and manifest in this particular lifetime, and what they must do in this life (dharma) in order to learn and grow spiritually, frequently through experiencing varying degrees of challenge and not getting what they want (usually not nearly as glamorous and abundant as what New Age cheerleaders promise as attainable—"…you can have it all, anything you want, just get inspired enough!"—yes, inspiration is wonderful, but distorted idealism isn't).

*Readings done by those who promote the misconception that there is one and only one "soul mate" on this planet for each person (truth: everyone has many "soul mates," but there is no such thing as a perfect match, or perfect relationship).

*Readings done by those who ignore the truth that "soul mate" relationships are usually less about getting what one wants romantically, and much more about spiritual growth, important lessons, and achieving various shared goals.

*Readings done by astrologers and numerologists who promote the myth that real astrology and numerology were never, or are not currently about predicting fate, but about "only possibilities."

*Readings done by astrologers and numerologists who put more emphasis on creative writing (entertainment) than delineation and prediction.

*Readings done by astrologers and numerologists who over-emphasize memberships in professional astrological and numerological organizations (that anyone can join if they simply pay the annual fees) and the awards they have received from those organizations that rarely, if ever have anything to do with accurate prediction.

*Readings done by astrologers and numerologists who indulge people's ego-self desires by telling them that they can "be anything" they want to be and that they can "erase" their challenging karma without having to directly balance it.

*Readings done by astrologers and numerologists who deny that spiritual development is intimately connected to self-actualization (complete self-knowledge on all levels) instead of just being about "getting what you want" (which is often contrary to one's fated path).

*Readings done by those who deny that the process of spiritual development, which regularly includes many of life's necessary experiences such as enduring varying degrees of suffering, is quite different compared to self-improvement (which too often today is only about "getting what you want").

*Analyses based solely on modern, mainly Western methods (non-continuous/infrequent cycles, such as transits, secondary progressions, solar arcs, etc.), or only on other superficial indications, such as retrogrades, eclipses, and solar returns.

*Analyses using almost exclusively Ptolemaic astrological aspects (such as trines, squares, oppositions, etc.).

*Analyses done by astrologers who confuse the ruler of the Ascendant with the natal chart's ruler.

*Analyses done by astrologers who promote the subjective misconception that the basic astrology chart is a map of the subject's subconscious.

*Astrology readings based on the erroneous notion that every person with the same Sun sign, or even Ascendant, has the same house cusps and house rulers.

*Analyses done by astrologers and numerologists who incorrectly claim that a single universal cycle or astrological phenomenon (such as a 7 Universal Year or a lunar eclipse in Scorpio) symbolizes the same types of circumstances for everyone with the same Life Path number or same Sun Sign, for example, regardless of the uniqueness of their individual comprehensive charts (e.g., "2005 was a bad year for anyone to get married," and "October 23 was the luckiest day of the year for those with Sun in Leo").

*Analyses done by astrologers and numerologists who mistakenly claim that the aspects, patterns, and charts "make" things happen or "influence" circumstances, when in fact they simply represent truths (as Above, so Below).

Love Compatibility Q & A

Q: What is a love relationship soul mate?

A: There are many types of soul mates. "Soul mate" is metaphysically defined as someone you've been with before in a past life. Everyone has more than one soul mate and some are more compatible for relationships than others. Please see Your Love Life and Reincarnation, by Stephen Petullo and contributing author Scott Petullo, for more information. Two people may unite as soul mates for a limited time or for a lifetime in this incarnation for various reasons: to complete a project; as a test to see if they can avoid hurting one another this time around; as karmic payback—one may owe the other (intangibly or tangibly); they may have a joint mission to accomplish; they may unite simply as a reward for positive karma in the past.

Q: How do you know you've found a love relationship soul mate?

A: Sometimes it involves intense feelings from the very start, other times it's not so obvious. Is there lots of passion in your relationship? What about trust and mutual respect? Do you share the same views about love and relationships? One way to find out for sure how compatible you are with another person is through comprehensive numerology, astrology, and handwriting analysis. You can also gain more insight about your relationship through deep meditation and past life regression.

Q: Do Scott's numerology, astrology, and graphology personality and compatibility analyses examine every possible component in love connections?

A: To begin with, there must be mutual appeal. Let's look at a sample prospective couple. She may be perfectly compatible with him through the charts and handwriting samples, but she won't date anyone older than 25 and she is repulsed by anyone with blonde hair and a New York accent. Likewise, he won't date anyone younger than 25 and he avoids anyone with blue eyes, fair skin, and those who don't cook. In other words, people can be highly compatible through numerology, astrology, and handwriting analysis, but their own unique biases, fears, defenses, and prejudices may block the connection from happening. Are these types of biases, or romantic blocks, fated? It certainly seems so.

Is it possible to gauge specific personal intolerances (such as those age or hair color related) through numerology, astrology, and graphology? No. You can be wonderfully compatible with someone who is in their 90's on paper, for example; you'll certainly feel a mutual affinity, but romance is a different story.

At the same time, levels of stimulation and passion between couples can be examined through comprehensive numerology and astrology (as can many other areas) to determine the depth and potential of a romantic bond.

Through handwriting analysis, Scott also identifies key compatibility issues such as fear of commitment, fear of abandonment, fear of being trapped, restlessness, fear of intimacy, closed-mindedness, resentment, evasiveness, vanity, excessive interest or disinterest in sex, fear of trusting others, and many more areas.

Q: What else typically blocks soul mate connections?

A: Sociological, environmental, religious or familial pressures and language barriers are some of the common elements that prevent two people from getting involved. For example, a Christian may be magnetically attracted to a Muslim, but their religious differences may sabotage the union. Is it possible to measure these exact biases and differences through numerology, astrology, and handwriting analysis? No.

Q: Can Scott determine the level of compatibility between two people before they even set eyes on each other?

A: Yes, he can, but that's not considering, for example, if Person A has a beard and Person B refuses to date people with beards. It's entirely possible, for instance, for a 22 year-old American woman to be extremely compatible through numerology, astrology, and graphology with an 89 year-old tribal medicine man in Angola. Yes, they will feel a special connection while interacting, but if they are not physically drawn to each other, then the connection probably won't happen. Some experts contend that even distinctive preferences are destined so as to attract (or not attract) the partners one is fated to attract, for better or worse.

Q: Is it possible for two people to be magnetically drawn to each other while having terrible compatibility through handwriting analysis, numerology, and astrology?

A: Yes. These types of connections most often involve challenging love karma that two people are drawn together to balance. If a strong draw didn't exist, then they would not be compelled to come together and fulfill the objective on schoolhouse earth.

Q: Can Scott determine sexual passion (or lack of) between two people?

A: Yes, absolutely. Extremes, in particular, are easy to discern.

Q: Is it possible for Scott to determine how realistic a person's love life desires and goals are?

A: Yes. Scott's comprehensive personality and predictive work shows how realistic love life goals are in relation to personal love life karma and fate.

Q: Can Scott determine when a person will connect with a significant relationship partner?

A: Yes.

Q: Can Scott tell me when, over the span of my life, I will have the most rewarding love life timing?

A: Yes, through comprehensive predictive numerology and astrology, Scott can tell you when you will have the most fruitful love life timing. He can also discern neutral and challenging love life timing.

Q: Can Scott discern what type of love connection two people have?

A: Yes. There are many different types of love, including, but not limited to, the following: deep emotional; fantasy, illusionary; practical, grounded; fun, exciting, adventurous; fleeting; spiritual; karmic payment; karmic reward; and sacrificial.

Q: What types of compatibility does Scott work with?

A: Scott determines physical, intellectual, mental, intuitive, and emotional compatibility.

Q: More specifically, how does Scott's work relate to love compatibility?

A: Scott offers tremendous clarity about past, present, and future love life issues. Through his unique form of comprehensive numerology, astrology, and handwriting analysis, he discerns types of love life karma and love life timing, rewards, challenges, personality strengths, fears and defenses, personal timing and fated circumstances, and overall relationship compatibility.
